Yes it did. The engine and gearbox out of Pat Hoare's Singer Le Mans. Then it got a Vauxhall Wyvern engine and gearbox. It became the RA Zephyr when Ron Rutherford fitted a Mk1 Zephyr engine bored out to 2486cc and raced 1959-61. After continual development it became the 260M Zephyr Special fitted with a Mays Mk3 running on Weber carbs, and a four speed MG gearbox.
