The 1970 Kyalami 9 hour. The 9 hour and the SA F1 GP in those days were characterised by enormous crowds who built a variety of structures next to the track and who often moved in a couple of days prior to the race with copious supplies of food and alcohol. This is of course the original track where it was possible to park your car overlooking the track and to watch the racing without leaving the car if you wished! The track was clockwise in those days. This is the view down the main straight into Crowthorne corner. Not sure about the car parked at the side of the track with 917's and 512's hitting close to 200mph just before that point.
