Visited Katikati yesterday and this was outside the Katikati Museum, the place is having its 150th Anniversary parade and events this weekend.

Been a Fire Engine all its life.

Was actually looking for " Barry " the Bronze statue of a Guy sitting on a seat reading the paper with his dog beside him, but it is away being refurbished.

The site today 16th September 2025. The Ball the Bracket that mounts the dog - there is a plaque too !! about the Dog and its creator Barry Menzies
