    One of my favorite Trans Am cars was this 1970 Plymouth Cuda that had first been driven by Dan Gurney and his protégé Swede Savage who was to sadly die in a massive crash during the terrible 1973 Indy 500.
    Driven at Sonoma by the very friendly Bill Ockerlund.

    One of these 1970 AAR Cudas went to Chrysler France in 1971 and raced various European events under Group 2 rules. It was eventually fitted with a big block Hemi and one year (1975 I think) attempted to qualify for Le Mans.
