I had two - one that I bought in 1987 and was my road car, and then the ex Group A car that I bought in 2004 with the intention of going classic racing with it because I never imagined I'd find a Formula Ford big enough. But when I did, the Abarths became surplus to requirements.
That were great little cars though.

These people have driven the fire/rescue cars for along time at meetings and are still doing it. they do a great job and spend all their spare time at the tracks doing this so others can play and enjoy, as I said, they do a great job.I see the spectators flocked in to see these fine examples from the Rootes Group being put through their paces.
PS These guys also had great fun against each other back then, they had there own little 'war' going on, think there was a red and white Avenger as well.
The only other shot I got and it was in the background again.
