Batch 2 for today.
The Petersen museum changes their main displays totally. Last time I went, this floor was a tribute to Bugatti. The current display is customised/lowriders. Colourful but despite the fantastic workmanship, not really my thing. The 'vault' was far more interesting.

I was one who had been 'locked out' since the beginning of June. Odd that some were affected and some were not. Judging by the number of views on the last posts, most seem to have been locked out. So I'm not at Goodwood... My next Goodwood may be the Revival again 2027, another solo trip. For now, with no monthly Caffeine and Classics at Smales Farm, local pickings are thin, so I'll carry on with pics from the April trip.

I met Gordon Spice several times as he owned the speed shop in Ashford Middx where I was based for six years and I bought a fair bit from his shop. His manager, Gerry, raced a Ford Zephyr in pre 57's.

What do you reckon the silver Ferrari would be worth?
What do you reckon the silver Ferrari would be worth?
Dunno, but one of my favourite Ferraris!
I've been locked out again but once the site upgrades are done, we should all be a lot happier. Thanks Psopho for taking on the task. We all appreciate that this is now a valuable resource.
Back uploading tomorrow NZ time.
great to see this site is up and running properly. many thanks to all involved.
Thanks are to Psopho for getting stuck in to update the site, with Steve's blessing. Still in test mode so we'll be getting a message soon when it all goes live.

Are all three cars in the third picture Lister/Jaguar?
Car #9 is the only Lister Jaguar.
The other two are Lister-Chevrolet Costins. #8 was not in the race programme - recently restored. Driven by Maxwell Lynn.

Thanks
I had planned on Goodwood Sunday next year as it was the weekend our cruise finishes - but they've moved the date to a week later. Guess I'll have to wait until 2027 - health permitting.
