I had two - one that I bought in 1987 and was my road car, and then the ex Group A car that I bought in 2004 with the intention of going classic racing with it because I never imagined I'd find a Formula Ford big enough. But when I did, the Abarths became surplus to requirements.
That were great little cars though.
Uncle Tom's Rovers were in the wars in this race.

These people have driven the fire/rescue cars for along time at meetings and are still doing it. they do a great job and spend all their spare time at the tracks doing this so others can play and enjoy, as I said, they do a great job.
PS These guys also had great fun against each other back then, they had there own little 'war' going on, think there was a red and white Avenger as well.
The only other shot I got and it was in the background again.
