    That second-last pic, the sporty car, seems to have '36 to '39 Ford V8 underpinnings...

    Ray Looks similar to the " Hawaiian ' Corvette ' Special " that Mike Ryan - ex-pat Kiwi recently recovered from a shed and is now restoring.. very similar body but has a tilt front. that seems to have a bonnet [ hood for the Americans ]
